Dr. Simon Wylie

Prosthodontics, MDSc. & FRACDS

Dr. Simon Wylie studied at the University of Melbourne both undergraduate and post-graduate degrees, before accomplishing his Masters of Dental Science. Simon then went on to complete two years as an Assistant Professor role at the University of Alberta, Canada. Simon has continued to tutor at the University of Melbourne in the Specialist Prosthodontics education program. Simon is also a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

 

Dr. Kurien Mamootil

Endodontics, BDSc. (Melb), GradDipClinDent (Melb), DClinDent (Melb), FRACDS

Dr. Kurien Mamootil completed his Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of Melbourne in 1994. He worked as a general dentist for seven years, soon after he became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2001. Kurien furthered his studies in the specialist area of Endodontics in 2002 and since then has achieved his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Endontics in 2004 from the University of Melbourne. He also demonstrates in the post-graduate specialist Endodontic training program and is an examiner in Endodontics for the Australian Dental Council. Kurien serves on the committee of the Federal Branch of the Australian Society of Endodontology. 

Dr. Graham Woolley

BChD. MMedSci. MDSc. Grad Dip Clin Dent. MRACDS(Pros)

Dr Graham Woolley worked in general dental practice for over 10 years, before commencing his training as a specialist Prosthodontist. He obtained a Master of Dental Science Degree in Prosthodontics from the University of Melbourne, School of Dental Science, in 2003.

Since then he has been working in specialist private practice; as a consultant for the Australian Defence Force in Victoria and as a Senior Lecturer at the Melbourne School of Dental Science.

At the School of Dental Science, he was twice awarded the Eggleston Trust Prize for Excellence in Teaching.

Dr Woolley currently teaches prosthodontics to postgraduate students on the Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) course, the Graduate Diploma in Implantology and the Modular Implant Course. He also runs a number of other CPD courses annually, in advanced prosthodontics, parafunction and The Management of Tooth Wear.

Graham regularly presents lectures for the Australian Dental Association and has specialist Membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (Prosthodontics).

Dr. Bevan Chong

Prosthodontist, BDS, DClinDent(Pros), MRACDS(Pros)

Bevan completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2005. After several years in public and private practice in New Zealand and Australia, Bevan pursued his specialist prosthodontic training at the University of Sydney, receiving his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) in 2013. He was also awarded membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Prosthodontics.

Bevan has been involved in teaching prosthodontics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the University of Sydney. He was a specialist clinical educator and a member of the Planning Committee for the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics). He also maintained a specialist position at Westmead Hospital. He continues to be involved in prosthodontic education as a clinical supervisor at the University of Melbourne.

Bevan is an invited reviewer for the International Journal of Prosthodontics. He is a member of the International College of Prosthodontists, Australian Prosthodontic Society, Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists, New Zealand Dental Association and Australian Dental Association.

Dr. Sasaluck Pakdeethai

Endodontics, BDS (Syd), GCertDent (Adel), DCD (Melb), FRACDS

Dr. Sasaluck Pakdeethai graduated from the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Sydney in 2004.  She practiced as a general dentist for 5 years in Regional Victoria and Melbourne, during which time completed her Graduate Certificate in Dentistry (Adel) programme and became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.  In 2012, Sass received her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Endo) degree from the University of Melbourne.  Her Doctorate thesis was titled “Fracture patterns of GIC overlays versus stainless steel bands for endodontically treated teeth: an ex-vivo study”.  Apart from clinical practice, Sass is involved in undergraduate teaching at the University of Melbourne.  She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and serves as a committee member of the Australian Society of Endodontology (VIC branch).

Lucy Allan

Dental Hygienist – Dip. Dental Hygiene.

Mrs. Allan started her career as a Dental Assistant in 1989 before completing a Certificate III in Radiography from Canberra Institute of Technology. Lucy then completed her Diploma of Dental Hygiene from Gilles Plains Tafe in 2002. Lucy prides herself on keeping up to date with the latest in Dental Hygiene so she can provide optimum treatment for her patients.
